Dear “Stories to Tell” readers,
may I introduce myself: My name is Sandra Bauknecht and I am the Editor of my own luxury and lifestyle blog “Sandra’s Closet”. As you read these lines here, I am in Los Angeles, where Montblanc will present an amazing project this weekend. It will be a fascinating experience for me and Montblanc, and you will soon read more about it – I promise.
During my visit at the Montblanc headquarters in Hamburg, Germany, in October 2012, I have had the pleasure to take a peek behind the walls of this fascinating company, discovering Montblanc’s Nib Manufacture, the Bespoke Nib Service as well the house’s Artisan Atelier of precious writing instruments, which was a truly special and wonderful encounter. I have rarely seen a company with so many passionate and enthusiastic employees that absolutely seem to enjoy their work. Culture, quality, craftsmanship and continuity – these are the core values which Montblanc carries proudly into the 21st century!
It was then that I obtained the chance to live out my own passion for writing and the written word in an incredible creative project together with Montblanc. Along with the Montblanc team I spent inspiring hours to create my own bespoke ink “Sandra’s Berry”. It was designed in accordance with my specifications and wishes and it is the first personalized ink Montblanc has ever created. What a unique launch it has been!
With the new project Montblanc will continue the company’s honorable commitment towards the written word.
